The test strips will detect the presence of blood in dialysate. Because blood leak alarms can sometimes sound for reasons other than an actual blood leak, the test strips will provide the user a means to determine if blood is leaking through the dialyzer membrane. The user simply dips the test strip in a sample, waits 60 seconds, and compares the results to the color chart on the bottle. With two color pads, Negative and Positive, the color charts provide the user with a convenient and easy method to get results.
